Ten Day with 20 or so nationally recognized plein air artists capturing the beauty of the forgotten coast from Carabelle Island to Mexico Beach. Wet paintings on show in the old cotton exchange in Apalachicola, Florida daily.. see artists working and speak to them about their work, view and or buy work framed and "fresh off the easel" of scenes all around the area at the old cotton exchange, attend any of a variety of social events to meet and mingle with the artists and see work from past paint outs. This is an event not to be missed by the artist and art lover alike.

Twenty plus nationally recognised artists descend upon the Florida panhandle to paint the forgotten coast from Appalachicola to Mexico Beach for 10 days. This huge event includes a number of receptions, wine tastings, socials, art shows, artist demos and a patrons dinner for exclusive access to the artists favorite pieces.

    A reception on the friday with food and music opening the juried show and featuring the presentation of awards at 8:30. On the Saturday and Sunday besides a continual variety of artist painting on location there is music, arts, crafts, kids activities, food and drink all day. Be sure to check out the feature barn and silent auction of various floor cloths created by artists as a fundraiser for the NRAS. This may be your chance to pick up a bargain by your favorite artist! A 10 day plein air painting fest. About two dozen invited artists from around the country travel to the Florida panhandle to paint an area from Mexico Beach  to Carabelle Island. The public is invited to view art in the making and there will be several opportunities to meet the artists during the week at various luncheons etc. Plan to attend a gala banquet at the end of the event where the wet paintings will be framed, on display and available to purchase! All week there will be demos daily by several artists at various locations and also the wet paint room will have the work on display every day of the event as it is completed. Whether you are an aspiring artist or an art lover this is an event not to be missed. It just gets better every year.
